Mobile Bay Heritage Award
The Mobile Bay Heritage Award is now available for students, student groups and faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences who are in the following majors/programs: African American Studies, Anthropology, Communication, English, Foreign Languages and Literatures, Geography, and History.
The Mobile Bay Heritage Award was established to encourage a project highlighting Mobile County or Baldwin County history, archaeology, and/or culture. Examples of projects might include a fee for a speaker, a photo exhibit, a class field trip, a research stipend, or the publishing of a report. It is made possible by the generous support of donors and is open to students, student groups, or faculty within the specified Departments/Programs listed above in the College of Arts and Sciences. One (1) or more awards may be given. Projects occurring in the same academic year but completed before the award announcement are eligible for reimbursement with appropriate documentation.
Requirements for the application include:
1). Mobile Bay Heritage Award application
2) Proposal including the following information: project overview, timeline, participants involved, deadline, budget /amount (requested/receipts), outcome of the project, and benefit to the university.
