Alfred F. Delchamps, Sr. Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student in the College of Education who plans to teach, and has been approved for financial aid by the University of South Alabama Office of Financial Aid; attained Junior or Senior status in a College of Education teacher certification program; completed 64 hours in a Teacher Education Program; been admitted to Teacher Education Candidacy; and possesses a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 at the University of South Alabama, and a minimum cumulative GPA in his/her Program Component of 3.2.
The application must be completed fully and include all of the following to be considered: Personal statement and personal goals, Evidence of professional interest/involvement (Memberships in professional organizations, volunteer work, etc.), and
Paragraph stating why scholarship would be of help. Must have completed a financial aid application and been approved for aid by USA Office of Financial Aid, prior to application date.
